Recently, a guest, Mrs. Bortolussi, at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver checked out of her room when she realized she had left her ring in her hotel room. She called the hotel and told the front desk person. Immediately, the Night Manager Pierre Manarovici went straight to her hotel room and found it.

The switchboard operator Kevin Lai returned Mrs. Bortolussi phone call to inform her that the staff had found her ring. Unfortunately, she was on her way to the airport.

Another switchboard operator, Melany Bautista, volunteered to take a taxi cab to the airport to return her ring to the guest so she would not have to return herself and miss her departing flight.

The guest was blown away with our staff’s teamwork!
