As we approach the end of 2018, let’s take a look back at some of our favourite annual events around Vancouver!

Dine Out Vancouver

Love to eat but don’t want to spend a whole lot on food? Taking place over 17 days in January and February, the Dine Out Vancouver Festival is a bevy of tasting menus, events and workshops. With more than 250 restaurants around the city participating, there is something new for every foodie to discover! The list of participating restaurants is available on the website in early January – reservations recommended!

Cherry Blossom Festival

Every spring, Vancouver’s cherry blossoms attract visitors from all over the world! The Cherry Blossom Festival’s official website provides regular updates on bloom status and the best neighbourhoods for viewing, so be sure to check in before you trek around town next spring.

Celebration of Lights

Vancouver’s Celebration of Lights takes place over 3 nights during the summer, with three countries competing to see who can produce the most amazing display. Huge crowds gather on the beaches of English Bay and Vanier Park, so grab a picnic dinner and head out early to get a great viewing spot!

Vancouver International Film Festival

This two-week festival is packed full of events, showcasing more than 300 films from over 50 countries around the world. Check out their website for next year’s dates or learn more about VIFF’s year-round programming.
