        It’s with great pleasure to nominate Parminder Khangura for a Vancouver Tourism award for her ongoing efforts to create memorable moments for our guests. We had a guest stay with us for several months on business who was alone essentially alone and feeling home sick. Parminder recognized this through conversations made continued efforts to ensure his stay was personalized and comfortable. “I would like to thank our housemaid who made my stay like being at home. This lady took care of my room at the upmost! She actively listened, making my room as I liked, everything at it is location and clean and adapting to my requirements. Beyond this she is a beautiful person. 

        She highly deserves Award of the best Housemaid of the year.” When speaking to the associate, she mentioned “I just treated him like my own son, I even invited him to come to my house to enjoy a home cooked meal. We keep in touch to this day”.  Comments like this are no surprise as Parminder treats all guests in her section as if they are being welcomed to her home. “When I made it back up to my room, I found a note from my housekeeper (Parminda, I think) wishing me a happy birthday. She even went as far as to do a nice turn down service on the room.” Parminder constantly learns from observing her guests, and taking the information to find opportunities to enhance their experience. It’s little touches such as these which turn a good experience to a great experience. We would like to thank Parminder for being an ambassador for not only JW Marriott, but Vancouver BC.
