A traveler shared that a hotel staff member, Richie, saved their cruise after a critical situation. The guest’s husband had accidentally left life-sustaining medication in the hotel refrigerator after they had already boarded the ship, and customs rules prevented them from disembarking to retrieve it.
 

Richie quickly located the medication, rushed it to the port, and coordinated with the cruise ship’s agent to ensure it was delivered before departure. The medication arrived just in time, allowing the trip to continue as planned.
 

The guest described the moment as deeply emotional, especially after a difficult year that included the loss of their mother, and said Richie’s quick action and care made a significant difference.
